Yu Nagayama

Yu Nagayama was born in 1974 in Ito-city, Japan. She studied organ with Masaaki Suzuki and Naoko Imai at Tokyo National University of Fine Art and Music, where she earned a Bachelor Degree in 1997.
She continued her studies in The Netherlands with Bernard Winsemius at the Rotterdam Conservatory. After completing the first part of the program, she passed successfully her final examinations for the Artist Diploma or "Uitvoerend Musicus" in 2002.
Regularly Yu Nagayama gives concerts in The Netherlands and Japan.
In 2002 her first CD came out, played on the little organ of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam containing works of J.S. Bach.
Since October 2003 she works as a voicer at Flentrop Orgelbouw in Zaandam, The Netherlands.
